To begin, tori and uki start in kumi kata position. Tori steps in between uki’s legs with his right foot. Tori then throws his right shoulder in to the chest of the uki. At the same time tori wraps his arms around uki’s legs, just above the knees. Tori then reaps the legs towards him and throws him directly to the rear. This is a difficult throw to take in the Dojo, so the tori needs to be controlled as he reaps the legs. In the street, reap as needed in order to put an end to the aggression. The shoulder, the reap and the fact that both legs are off the ground simultaneously, are what makes this throw so devastating.
