Of all the stupid reality shows to hit the airwaves, one of the stupidest and most tragic is Teen Mom.  The show should simply serve as a lesson in what not to do or how not to live your life.  It should be called “Stupid, Ignorant Teenagers: Let’s Mock and Exploit Them”.  Perhaps some of these girls come away financially better off than prior to their appearance on the show but at what cost?  Glamorizing teen pregnancy (almost a sure guarantee to lifelong poverty) is unconscionable.  Teen pregnancy should be as horrifying and unacceptable as it was when I was growing up in the 70’s and 80’s.  The producers and directors should be embarrassed that their ambitions have led them down such a meaningless and uninspired path.

Farrah Abraham, “Teen Mom 2” star, is a stupid teenager with no brains or education who happens to be ok looking and “lucky” enough for some one to pay for fake boobs.  She then makes a porno movie with some porno actor and now she regrets it.  She told In Touch Magazine, the porno tape she made titled, Farrah Superstar: Back Door Teen Mom, “made it hard to have friends and a private life and to trust family, who I feel use me for money.  If I went back in time, I would not have done it. The sex tape ruined my life.”  That’s how dumb and nieve this girl is, she’s upset about her friends and family wanting her money but not about the fact she’s a porno star, essentially a prostitute who got paid to have sex on tape.  Although I have not viewed the tape and have no intention of viewing it, apparently it’s quite graphic living up to its title “Back Door”.  And what about her poor child/children? This is their legacy.  Mom was a porno actress, oh, and a reality TV star.

This is not a story I would choose to write about except that it needs to be discussed and discouraged.  It’s disgusting and the show be cancelled.  Farrah, if that’s her real name, is a sad, pathetic, little girl.  For her to receive more than another minute of fame says much about how worthless our society has become. Where is the outrage, the protests against MTV?!  The lunatics are indeed running the asylum.
