The very contentious issue surrounding “male pregnancy” has reached a fever pitch with the release of the latest issue of Glamour UK. The current issue features a transgender male, Logan Brown, in a painted-on suit who is clearly very pregnant. Logan, who identifies as male, was taking a break from testosterone for a reason unknown and became pregnant. Logan, has a non-binary partner named Bailey Mills who is a drag performer. It’s our understanding that Logan became pregnant from Bailey by engaging in heterosexual intercourse, the “regular way” the vast majority of women become pregnant in this world, although that is clearly avoided in the interview.

What Glamour UK and Logan Brown are attempting to push on the mainstream world, is that men can become pregnant and have babies. Logan is saying that clearly, it’s the case because despite the fact that she was born with all the necessary parts to be a woman, to have children, her identity proves men can have babies. That logic is flawed beyond my ability to comprehend and to accept. It would be no different than claiming she’s the first Martian to have a baby on earth. Just because she makes the claim, doesn’t mean it’s so. Logan ignores the science that she is a biological female which is clear by her pregnancy and subsequent birth by c-section. Simply stated, gender will always take a back seat to biology! It isn’t enough to identify, feel or claim to be another gender. Nature, and science are all that actually matters.

Had Logan wanted to be more like a male, he would have had a hysterectomy. Afterall, he did have a double mastectomy, and was living life as a male. But Logan chose to live as a biological female and her pregnancy doesn’t prove males can have babies but rather that only biological females can have children.

This is not about hatred or transphobia. It’s about truth! People can’t simply say whatever they want and force others to accept their non-truth. Logan is a female. She might feel like a male, although I’m unsure as to what that actually means, but her body betrayed her. The human beings with the vagina, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes etc., are the females of our species. They are the only ones who can create life within their bodies. No one should accept any other definition because otherwise, we must accept what anyone claims or believes. And beliefs and feelings, cannot be proven scientifically. They are not facts. Donald Trump didn’t win the election because he said he did. This is no different!

There are psychologists, psychiatrists and other medical doctors who would disagree. Afterall, they are supposed to heal people and if someone tells them that they are a different gender, they must respect and treat their claims. There’s also a lot of money in it. It’s Big business! The only problem is there are no tests that can be conducted to validate gender dysphoria. It’s based purely on the patient making the claim. That’s why it’s so important not to allow children to be treated for this ailment. There is no way to know precisely that it is a proper diagnosis. Children are not capable of making life altering decisions and their parents, in an act of desperation, might allow treatments, that might not be best for their child. Only time will tell, what the result of this transgender epidemic will be. But clearly, at least some of those making the claim have other issues as well. It certainly gets them the attention they might seek. Children who have difficulty socially, would rather stand out and receive attention, for being transgender, than be invisible or worse.

If someone believes they were born in the wrong body, that’s sad, tragic even. But that’s their issue. Trans females who have penises, have erections and ejaculate like males. They are not women. They are capable of impregnating women, as we have seen in this case with Logan’s “non-binary” partner. They belong on men’s teams and in male locker rooms and restrooms. Logan wants us to accept her as a man because she feels like and believes she’s a man, and therefore, we need to accept it. That not a valid enough reason and can never happen, because it’s untrue. Her pregnancy isn’t a validation that men can have babies but rather the opposite. That no matter how much it disturbs and pains her, she will always be a woman. A woman gave birth to a baby, just like it’s always been done. Nature wins again!
